What shooting disciplines do you specialize in?

We specialize exclusively in the Olympic 10m Air Pistol discipline. Our academy focuses on the technical, physical, and psychological mastery required for competitive target shooting at the highest levels.

What program should I choose if I am new to the sport?

You should start with our Beginner Essentials program. It is specifically designed to take you from a complete novice to a confident, technically sound shooter. The curriculum focuses on:

  • Safety Fundamentals & Weapon Handling: Establishing a flawless foundation of range safety rules and pistol operation.
  • Stance & Biomechanical Stability: Learning how to position your body and skeleton to maximize stability and minimize muscle fatigue.
  • The Shot Cycle: Breaking down the core mechanics of a perfect shot—grip, sight alignment, aiming, and clean trigger release.
  • Introduction to Routine: Developing a consistent pre-shot routine to build muscle memory.
What is included in the advanced training program?

Our high-performance track is the Athlete Pro program, engineered for advanced competitive tuning and preparing athletes for major tournaments. This curriculum includes:

  • Advanced Technical Calibration: Refining minute details of hold, trigger control, and follow-through to maximize precision.
  • Sports Psychology & Mental Flexibility: Implementing advanced mental frameworks to handle tournament pressure and maintain focus during high-stakes matches.
  • Physical Preparation & Endurance: Tailored physical conditioning strategies to maintain biomechanical consistency over long courses of fire.
  • Match Simulation & Performance Tracking: Analyzing data and tracking training scores to ensure peak performance coincides with major national and international events.
Who will be coaching me?

Training is directed by our Head Coach, who brings 15 years of competitive and coaching experience to the line. Holding an ISSF coaching license alongside multiple International Olympic Committee (IOC) certifications in physical preparation and sports psychology, our coaching staff has a proven track record of developing international-level junior and senior athletes.

What makes X.9 Shooting Academy different from a standard shooting range?

Unlike standard recreational ranges, X.9 is an athletic training academy. We utilize a holistic coaching methodology that integrates precision technique, biomechanical stability, and sports psychology. You aren't just paying for range time; you are receiving a structured, elite education in athletic performance.

What is the main difference between General Classes, Group Training, and Private Coaching?

The main difference lies in the level of personalization and the overall structure of the curriculum. General Classes follow a standardized, proven learning path perfect for building strong fundamentals. Group Training provides a tailored periodization plan for a small team or club with shared competitive goals. Private Coaching is the ultimate 1-on-1 experience, offering a completely customized, long-term blueprint designed around your specific biomechanics, mental game, and competition schedule.

What can I expect from a General Class (Course)?

General Classes (like our Beginner Essentials course) focus on a standardized curriculum. They are designed to teach you the absolute correct mechanics of precision shooting from day one so you don't build bad habits. You will learn safety fundamentals, basic stance and biomechanical stability, the core shot cycle (grip, sight alignment, trigger release), and how to establish a consistent pre-shot routine.

Who is Group Training for, and what does it include?

Group Training is ideal for shooting clubs, local teams, or small groups of competitive shooters who train together. It bridges the gap between general instruction and private coaching. Your team receives a customized Training Periodization Plan designed for the group's shared goals. You benefit from:

  • Synchronized Peaking: We map out your team's Macro, Meso, and Microcycles so everyone peaks for the same major club competitions.
  • Shared Accountability: Team-based visual stamina and physical prep drills.
  • Better Value: You gain access to our elite coaching and structured programs at a more cost-effective, shared price point per person.
Why should I choose Private Coaching?

Private Coaching is for the dedicated athlete who has hit a scoring plateau or is seriously aiming for a podium finish. It takes all the guesswork out of your individual progress by providing:

  • 1-on-1 Technical Diagnostics: Deep, micro-mechanical analysis to fix your specific aiming errors (like trigger snatching or focus shifting) and perfect your natural point of aim.
  • Custom Training Periodization: A highly personalized blueprint of your entire competitive year, ensuring you arrive at match day in peak physical and mental condition.
  • Individualized S&C & Mental Training: Targeted physical conditioning (General and Specific Strength & Conditioning) and sports psychology cognitive drills built entirely around your unique physiological and psychological needs.
What exactly is included in Private Coaching, and how is it structured?

Private coaching is a highly personalized, long-term approach designed to break through performance plateaus. When you sign up for private coaching, you receive our complete three-pillar development plan:

  • Technical Mastery: Deep diagnostic target analysis to perfect your micro-mechanics, fix aiming errors, and establish an immovable natural point of aim.
  • Strength & Conditioning (S&C): Targeted physical conditioning to build the static strength and core rigidity required to steady your firearm with zero forced effort.
  • Mental Resilience: Cognitive drills to build visual stamina, manage match-day pressure, and maintain focus.

Additionally, all private coaching athletes receive a completely personalized Training Periodization Plan (Macro, Meso, and Microcycles) along with a monthly training tracker to ensure you peak exactly when it matters most for your competitions.
